In-Ward is Alexandra ‘Spicey’ Landé’s new choreographic work, inspired by No Exit, the play by Jean-Paul Sartre. In particular the resounding phrase, “Hell is other people,” sparked this creative process, in which the choreographer and six dancers explore the complexity of human relationships and the profound ambivalence of our co-existence. How do individuals within a group navigate between the temptation of solitude and the threat of conflicts on a bodily and psychic level?
