The MAI Gallery has a maximum capacity of 250 seated places and 400 standing places.

How to Contact Us
Rental requests for the theater must be received at least 3 months before the event.

In order for us to adequately fulfill your needs, please write us an e-mail mentioning:
• A brief description of your project
• Required times (including set-up and strike, rehearsals and/or dress rehearsals, the number of performances or exhibition days)
• An overview of your production schedule (if available)
• The number of people involved during production (artist(s), technical personnel, others)
• Your technical requirements

All the requests are carefully considered based on the availability of our spaces and the technical requirements of the project.

Rental rates (PDF format)

Gallery rental for an activity open to public includes a staff person responsible for the opening and closing the space as well as for the overall supervision and security for a period of 7 hours. Box office services, stage management and coat check are not included in the set price. For performances within the gallery space, box office services can be added with various options upon request (see rates above). This service includes box office hours at the door on the night of each performance, and by telephone during the MAI’s regular box office hours (additional fees may apply based on the number of tickets printed and sold).

Gallery rental for an exhibition includes the service of a gallery sitter for surveillance – noon to 6pm. Rental rates for an exhibition can vary depending on the duration of the project.

Days for load-in and strike include the services of one technician.

The rental space includes (depending on availability) the equipment mentioned in the Technical Rider. Any technical set-up necessitates the presence of one or more technicians at the rate mentioned above.
