Ouvre-moi ton plexus novembre

La Bronze (Montréal)

Nov. 28, 2015

Directed by Adib Alkhalidey

With her exceptional sound-shaping skills, singer-songwriter La Bronze serves up an invigorating dose of pop with a touch of trip-hop, at once gentle and fervent.

Her lyrics deal with passion, truth, and the search for freedom. Her effortlessly expressive voice lays bare a unique and honest poetry.

Alongside director Adib Alkhalidey, she creates a lavish sounding, ethereal performance where everything becomes possible – mesmeric songs transferred through a theatrical soul.

Award-winning artist Nadia Essadiqi, aka La Bronze, released her self-titled album in 2014, and was nominated “Emerging artist of the year” at the Canadian Music Week Awards.

Actress, writer, singer, and percussionist, this talented multidisciplinarian has recently blazed stages at the Francofolies de Montréal (2015) and the_ Festival franco-ontarien_ (2014). The recipient of numerous honours, La Bronze recently received the “Prix Télé-Québec Coup de cœur » at the Festival de l’Outaouais Émergent.
