Howie Tsui resurrects Hong Kong vampires and the ancient bestiaries of his native Asia to lampoon the current climate of fear. Combining a variety of techniques and a broad range of cultural references, Horror Fables typifies the divergence between the fear of yore – driven by morality – and its politically and economically motivated, modern counterpart.
