Gustavo Cabili and Katia Makdissi-Warren have concocted a series of exceptional concerts inspired by their eclectic backgrounds. For starters, Cabili takes us from the chacareras of his Argentinian youth to the folklore of Quebec, accompanied by La Shunta. Makdissi-Warren and Oktoecho respond with La 5e route bleue, an adventure mixing jazz, Middle Eastern, and contemporary influences. The two composers crown the evening with Orient-Tango, a series of bold creations performed by twelve talented musicians on oud, bandoneon, piano, strings, and percussion. A three-course treat guaranteed to have a lasting effect!
