Traffik Femme

Le Trunk Collectif

April 14 to 25, 2010

Theatre
April 14 to 25, 2010

This performance will be presented in two versions:
Three performances will be in French and three will be in English.

Riding the wave of nationwide success that followed its last performance, the Trunk Collective launches its latest production, Traffik Femme, a performance that tracks one woman’s impossible journey as a victim of human trafficking. With its unique style, this performance brings together physical and shadow theatre, clowning, music, and dance with a dramatic text by Emma Haché. Directed by Lynne Cooper, this raw monologue infused with subversive humour is performed by Nico Lagarde, giving voice to a woman who recounts her dreadful past and dreams for the future with brutal candour.
